Founder 1933-2012
Chuck and his wife Pat started the Monument Company in 1975 to serve Pickaway county and the surrounding area. In 1985 Wellman Monument Company completed the construction of the monument shop with two automatic sandblast booths and one shape carving booth. The business kept growing and in 1992 Chuck Sr. purchased Highlawn Cemetery in Washington C.H., Ohio. Wellman Monument Company is a member of the Monument Builders of Ohio. Chuck Sr. devoted his life to his work and his relationship with his customers carries on to the present day.

Charlie is a third generation Wellman and has been working at the Wellman Monument Company since Fall of 2008. Charlie takes care of all sales, graphic designing, and customer service needs.
Charlie is from Circleville, married and has two daughters. He enjoys sports and landscaping.
Monument Setting & Shop Maintenance
Caleb has been with Wellman Monument Company since 2009. Caleb is also a third generation Wellman. He takes care of all the maintenance in and around the Monument Shop and also does all monument setting .
He is married, and has one daughter. He enjoys filming and lawn care
Cemetery Sexton
Oscar has been with the Wellman Monument Company since 1989. He is caretaker of Highlawn Cemetery at our Washington C.H. location. Oscar takes care of all monument sales along with foundations, lawn care and maintenance at the cemetery.
He is married, has four children and one grandchild and lives in Washington C.H. He enjoys golfing and working on vehicles.
