Ronald McMullen

Ronald Richard McMullen “Moon”, 74 of Circleville, Ohio, formally of

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, suddenly and peacefully ended his journey on this

earth in his home on March 11, 2020. Ronald graduated Munhall High School

class of 1964. He was a member of the United States Army and a proud Veteran

of the Vietnam War with of rank of Specialist E5 in the Company D554

Engineer Battalion and was honorably discharged on 11/16/1971. Upon

returning from his Vietnam tour he was employed by the Coca Cola company

then worked for the P&LE Railroad as an accountant in Pittsburgh, PA and

transferred to Marietta, GA in 1999 before retiring and relocating  to Ohio

where he was proud to be a Walmart employee. He was a third degree member of

the Fr. John S. Hannah Council 5297 Knights of Columbus.  He belonged to St.

Joseph Catholic Church where he served as  the 1st grade Catechist, RCIA

team member, Cemetery Board member, Friday morning Men’s Bible Study Group

and Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion at Mass.  Ron was

known by those who loved him as a loving kid generous soul. His will always

be know for his love of God, family and his dogs who each meant the world to

him.He was the loving son of the late James and Harriet McMullen.

Ronald is survived by his two daughters Carla McMullen and Laurie Totten

(Charles) and son Philip McMullen addition to numerous grandchildren and

great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Dana Kraus

(Michael).

He was predeceased by his wife, Connie McMullen in 2015 and his brother

James McMullen in 2008.

Private viewing at 9:00 Monday, March 16th 2020 at Wellman Funeral Home,

1455 Court Street, Circleville, OH 43113. Mass will be held Monday, March 16

2020 10:00 AM at St Josephs Catholic Church , 134 W Mound St., Circleville

OH 43113. Bereavement luncheon to follow at the church hall.  The burial

ceremony will be held on Tuesday , March 17 at noon at Mt. Leabonon

Cemetery, 509 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228
