Phyllis (Mumaw) Burris

Phyllis Ellen (Mumaw) Burris of Circleville passed away on May 16, 2023.  She was born on April 16, 1942 in Circleville to Emmanuel and Elizabeth (Giffin) Mumaw.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Burris, sons Gail Burris, Robert (Rhonda) Burris and Randy Burris, great grandson Colton Levi and a half-sister Roberta Burris.    Phyllis is survived by her children Regina (Mike) Reeser , Rachel (Chuck) Smith, Roger (Soni) Burris Jr., Robin (Randy) Gilmore of Laurelville, Rebecca (Kenny) Dellenbach and Ray (Corrine) Burris both of Amanda, daughter-in-law Kelly Burris of Circleville and special son Butch Burris of Circleville, grandchildren Michele (Butch) Cooper, Chuck (Lindsey) Smith, Elizabeth (Caleb) Smith, Stefani (Gary) Burris, Eric Burris, Robert Burris Jr., Chelsie (Rob) Burris, Savannah (Chris) Burris and R.J. (Isabella) Burris all of Circleville, Kelly (Nick) Pruitt and Joshua (Anna) Williams both of Kingston, Matthew (Stephani) Williams and Jessica Browning both of Stoutsville, Casandra (Joey) Parks of Chillicothe, Terry (Heather) Browning of Lancaster, Travis (Samantha) Browning, Morgan Dellenbach, Kenny Dellenbach Jr. and Jasmine Burris all of Amanda, Christopher (Kayla) Burris of Laurelville, great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Emily, Emma, Gracie, Mackenzie, Charlie, Calliope, Mason, Hadley, Lucca, Tyson, Kaleb, Abigail, Lainey, Jocelyn, Joey Sr., Kyleah, Hannah, Ryan, Brayden, Nevaeh, Grace, James, Luke, Gabriel, Belle, Lilly, Ryleigh, Bentley and Cameron.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon.  The family want to thank the staff at Pickaway Manor and Promedica Hospice.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
