Monna lee (Marshall) Lyter

Monna Marshall (Payne) Lyter, 80, died on April 9th in her home filled with love after a long illness.  Orphaned as a child, Monna was the last surviving sibling.  She was predeceased by her natural parents Ashley Lee and Judith Kathleen (Schreckgast) Marshall, her adoptive parents Bill and Agnes Ramey, husband Robert, sisters Patty, Louise, Dolly, brothers Gene and Toby and daughter-in-law Melinda.  Monna was a sweet, loving, kind-hearted, and generous woman who would give everything she had to anyone in need.  A retired secretary, courageous and independent, she was a devoted mother and grandmother to whom family was everything.  Monna loved her sons and grandsons more than anything on earth.  She is survived by loyal and committed son Chris (Linda) and faithful and dedicated son John.  The apples of her eyes were grandsons Nicholas and Harrison, for whom there are no equals. Also surviving is the father of her sons Ralph (Bev) Payne and many special friends.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.                         Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3-5 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.   Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
