Howard Barrett

Howard Barrett, 90, of Columbus passed away on April 1, 2021 in Circleville.  Howard was born on July 20, 1930 in New York to Guy and Louise (Traynor) Barrett.  He was a retired MSGT Air Force Veteran and retired from General Electric Super Abrasives.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna (Kliewer) Barrett and brother Gerald Barrett.  He is survived by his children Debbie (Mike) Stevens, Karen (Mark) Nilges, Beverly (Pete) Trivanovich, Paula (David) Getreu, Steve and Brian (Phebe) Barrett, grandchildren Suzy Cothern, Jenny (Mike) Cordts, Kathy (Brandon) Gedrich, Patty Stevens, Cindy (Mark) Corbett, Addison Nilges, Jeff (Patrice) Barrett,  Alex and Nik Trivanovich, Pierson, Gage and Collin Barrett, 8 great grandchildren and brother Ronald Barrett.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, Circleville.  Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Columbus.  Friends will be received on Tuesday at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville from 5-7 p.m. COVID 19 restrictions will apply.  Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Philip Church, Circleville or Hospice of Fayette County.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.  Full obituary can be seen on the website.
