Frank "Bob" Lands Obituary

Frank Robert (Bob) Lands, II, 74, of Stoutsville, Ohio, died on April 11, 2024 at the James Cancer Center surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was born July 10, 1949 in Circleville, Ohio to the late Frank and Mary Katherine Lands. He was a 1967 graduate of Logan Elm High School. Bob’s life exemplified servant leadership and the importance of family. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Stoutsville. He was a member of the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry (Grange) serving various leadership positions at the state and county levels. Additionally, he served on the Washington Township Zoning Board and dedicated time coaching and umpiring various youth baseball and softball leagues. Bob began his career working with his late father at a family-owned farm-implement dealership in Stoutsville. He later became an employee of Logan Elm School District before retiring in 2007. He also enjoyed working with his family operating the Lands Christmas Tree Farm. Bob loved spending time with family, camping and traveling with his wife and traveling partners Bruce and Lola Garrett. Whether he was on a long meandering trip to nowhere or a trip to visit and cheer on his grandkids, there was usually a card game involved. He never met a stranger and loved

cracking a joke to a get a smile.
