Donna Marilyn (Bliss) Salyer

Donna Marilyn (Bliss) Salyer, 85, of Portsmouth, OH went to be with her Savior on November 12, 2021 at the Hill View Retirement Center in Portsmouth.  She was born on October 30, 1936, the daughter of Mildred (McCain) Bliss and Donald Bliss. She was a 1955 graduate of Stockdale High School.  She attended the High Praises Church of God in Portsmouth, OH.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carolyn Salyer Slone; grandson, Seth Hicks; sisters, Hazel and Della and her brothers, Ray, John and Jerry.  She is survived by her daughter, Eva Hamby (Jimmy) of Wheelersburg, OH; a sister, Sharon Spence of Orient, OH; brother, Robert Bliss of New Mexico; grandchildren, Chad (Heather) Salyer and Heather Salyer and seven great grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held 12 noon Saturday November 20, 2021 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.  Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.  Online condolences may be made at www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
