Cleo Lear

Cleo Lear, 77 of Laurelville passed away September 19, 2018 at Pickaway Manor.  She was born on July 28, 1941 in Jackson, OH, the daughter of Rey and Bessie (Saxton) Whitt.  She was an avid quilter and book reader, loved her Adelphi Senior Center friends, was a Red Hatter and Big Buckeye Fan.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian O. Lear; brother, Basil Whitt and ex-husband, Otis Lear.  She is survived by her children, Donald A. (Regenia) Lear, Anita D. (Robert) Rosenberger and Sandra E. (James) Goble; 5 grandchildren, Mitchell L. Adams, Michael Good, Seth L. Roberts, Garrett H. Rosenberger and Gavin L. Roberts; great granddaughter, Kaydence I. Adams; sister-in-law, Ruth Whitt and nephew, Dale Whitt.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 22, 2018 at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.  Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers please donate to Heartland Hospice.  Online condolences may be made at www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.  Scarlet and grey attire is optional.
