Charles Willison

Charles W. Willison, 93, of Circleville, passed away on April 28, 2023 in Pickaway Manor.  He was born on December 10, 1929 in Woodsfield, OH, the son of Wilbert and Stella (Harmon) Willison.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.  Charles was known by many by Chuck.  He loved hunting and fishing which he instilled into his sons with many trips to Michigan and Canada.  One of those fishing trips was with his oldest grandson Matt, his son Rick, nephew David and others.  One of the most important things was being part of a church family.  If there was a church work day or pot luck happening at the church he was there.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert A. Willison; wife, Frances (Starkey) Willison; youngest son, Gary C. Willison (Rebecca) and oldest son, Richard A. Willison (Marcia).  He is survived by his middle son, James B. Willison (Sheryl); six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and nephew, David K. Willison (Margaret).  Visitation for Charles will be Saturday, May 6th, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Wellman Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Heavenly Hills.  Online condolences may be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
