Betty (Southall) Slark

Betty Jane Slark, 87, of Circleville, went to be with her Heavenly Father on  January 27, 2023, at Circleville Post Acute. She was born June 29, 1935, in Columbus, the daughter of Robert and Alma Southall. Betty was one of twelve children and graduated from Hamilton Township High School.  In August of 1954, she married the love of her life, Bob. They had six children.  Betty in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Slark Sr., son Christopher Michael Slark, grandson Eric Hurst, and granddaughter Baby Girl Posani.

She is survived by her brother, Howard (Duke) Southall, and her children Robert (Stephanie) Slark, Jr. of Columbus, Lorena J. Lowry of Orlando, FL; Teresa (David) Silverglade of Delaware, Richard (Kim White) Slark of Springfield and Thomas E. (Rhonda) Slark of Circleville. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A private service for Betty will be held at the family's convenience. The family would like to thank the staff at Circleville Post Acute, Shannon from Heartland Hospice, and Wellman Funeral Home for their compassionate care.
