William Blankenship

William Fillmore Blankenship, 87, passed away on June 1, 2026. He was born on March 8, 1939 to Jess and Orpha (Hart) Blankenship. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn (Rife) Blankenship; sons David Wayne and William Fillmore Jr. Blankenship; daughter Elizabeth Blankenship Copley; grandson Skylar Wayne Blankenship; great grandson Dominic Hoy; brothers Harley, Thurman Eugene, Jess Jr., Rex and Martin Blankenship and by sisters Pansay Ghering and Mazie Blankenship. William is survived by son Billy Joe (Patty) Blankenship; grandchildren David Hoy, Jenette and Robert Copley, Miranda (Joe) Abston, Kyle, Machelle, Phoebe and Bishop Blankenship; step grandchildren Trina Robison and Nikia Copley Dominguez; brothers Darl and Robert Blankenship; sisters Luella Berry, Candy Backus and Ethel Campbell and by 11 great grandchildren.
