Virginia Short

Virginia (Kaiser) Short, 88, of Laurelville went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Logan Elm Health Care. She was born March 29, 1937 in Lawrence County the daughter of the late John and Amanda (Doolin) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Bobby Kaiser, Douglas Kaiser and Merle Kaiser, grandchildren Jennifer (King) Kaiser and Chad Kaiser, brothers Hent, Perry, Tucker, Clinton, Henry, William, David, Andrew and Johnny Smith; sisters Jewell Cole, Mary Keaton and Betty Bradley. She is survived by her sons Harry, Phillip and Shannon Kaiser; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and all of her church family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Olive Cemetery.
