Vincent Michael Yaniga, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, at Circleville Post Acute. Born on May 26, 1951, in Sewickley, PA, Vince's life was a testament to love, service, and community dedication. His parents, Martin & Elaine Yaniga, preceded him in death. Vince shared 47 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Deborah Henney Yaniga, whom he married on December 9, 1978. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Bradley (Christina) and Aaron (Kiera), who were the pride and joy of his life. Vince's legacy extends to his cherished grandchildren—Ian, Caleb, and Mylan—who brought immense joy and laughter to his days. His sisters, Nancy Kaye and Karen Smith, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends will remember him fondly for his warmth and humor. A man of great intellect and compassion, Vince graduated from high school in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, and pursued higher education with a purpose. He earned two master's degrees in counseling and social work from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Central Michigan. These academic achievements were a testament to his dedication to helping others, a calling he embraced wholeheartedly. For over 38 years, Vince served at the Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center, where he retired as the Clinical Director. His career was marked by his unwavering commitment to the mental health and well-being of those he served. His colleagues and clients will remember him as a compassionate counselor and a wise mentor.

Vince's dedication to his community was evident in his active membership in St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he found spiritual fulfillment and fellowship. He was a proud member of the Noon Rotary Club, where he served as president for two years and was a dedicated judge and coordinator of the Rotary Speech Contest. His leadership extended to the Knights of Columbus, where he was honored to serve 4th Degree Knight, and on the board to various agencies in Pickaway County. His sense of humor, love for his family, and passion for teaching others were qualities that endeared Vince to everyone who knew him. He found joy in coaching sports and participating in community activities, always eager to make a positive impact on the lives of others. A service to honor and celebrate Vince's life will be held on Wednesday April 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Wellman's Funeral Home, located at 1455 N Court St, Circleville, OH 43113.
