Trista Smith

Trista Ann Kathyrn Smith, age 41, passed away Friday, September 19th, at the Ohio State James Cancer Center due to complications from leukemia. She is a graduate of Logan Elm High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Ohio University. She also resided in Florida for many years and was employed by Walmart and Cedar Point Amusement Park.

She is survived by Aunt Gloria (Danny) Evans of Chillicothe; Uncles: Cecil Reid of Vinton County, along with Carl, Harry Reid, and Kenna (Red) Thompson of Jackson. There are also cousins Mike Evans of Chillicothe and Daniel “Tase” (Lisa) Evans of Peoria, AZ; Tim Reid of Vinton County, along with Carolyn Palmer and Peggy Bishop.

She was preceded in death by parents Ronald and Martha “Reid” Smith--formerly of Laurelville; Grandparents Herman and Kathryn Smith of Chillicothe and Walter and Virginia Reid of Vinton County; Aunt Susan Thompson, along with the cousins Donnie, Charles, and Larry Reid.

Trista loved music as she was a member of the Logan Elm Marching Braves Band. Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville is handling the cremation. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to Wellman Funeral Home, 1455 North Court Street, Circleville, Ohio, 43113.
