Shelby F. Dye

Shelby F. Dye, 89, of Circleville, passed away on October 10, 2026 at his residence. He was born on May 18, 1937 in Pineville, KY, the son of John and Edessa (Powell) Dye. He was an 1956 graduate of CHS, attended Good Shepherd Methodist Church, retired from E.I. DuPont, was a U.S. Army veteran, member of AmVets 2256 and B.P.O.E. 77. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Paul Dye and Ernest Dye and special family friend, Bruce Adams. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lou (Ankrom) Dye; sons, Brad (Cheryl) Dye and Brian Dye; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Eunice Payne and Vivian (Dave) Garrett. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday October 16, 2026 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
