Circleville – Sheila Rose Kamler departed this world Monday October 11, 2010. Her caring ways and abundant love will be sorely missed. Born in Ford City, Pennsylvania to Elizabeth M. and Dennis L. Duff, she was the youngest of ten children; born on November 8th, 1936. Her two remaining siblings will be in Circleville this week to mourn her passing, Kenneth Duff of Fort Thomas, Kentucky and Richard Duff of Newton, North Carolina. Sheila married Anthony Kamler in 1957 and they created a life together that included four children. A.J. and his wife Kathy live in Marion, Ohio. Jeff and his wife Geri live in Jefferson, Ohio with their son Andrey. Rita (Hester) lives in Winchester, Virginia with her husband Robert and their two children, Carter Elizabeth and Rayle. And Russell lives here in Circleville where the memory of his mother’s life is strongest, and hardest. Mrs. Kamler will be remembered by former students of Logan Elm School District as she served for many years in their libraries. Visiting Hours with the family will take place at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday, October 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will be followed by a Prayer Service. Visiting hours will continue on Saturday morning October 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with interment to immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Sheila was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a dedicated church member, a volunteer generous with her time and effort, and a loyal friend. She will be missed by all those who were enriched by her bright smile and her joy of life. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice. Funeral arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
