Sharon Murphy

Ms. Sharon Anne English May Murphy of Mount Sterling, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, August 15, at her residence. She was born on July 14, 1950, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Richard English, and by her brother, Floyd English. Sharon was a very kind and compassionate lady who enjoyed life. She loved jigsaw puzzles, flowers, and hummingbirds and often sat on her swing on the front porch and enjoyed nature. Sharon also loved being at home and enjoyed her quiet time. She adored her four children and had lived with her son Sean Allen May for the past fifteen years. Survivors include her children’s father, Mike May, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, and her four beautiful children, James Michael May, Jr, of Kentucky; Sean Allen May of Mount Sterling, Ohio; Melissa Anne May Heminger (Jake) of Magodore, Ohio; and Brett David May (Sandra) of Alaska. In addition, Sharon had a brother, Ronald English, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews. There will be no service.
