Sara Greene

Sara Eulah Fraley Greene, 98, of Circleville died on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at home. The seventh of eight children was born December 23, 1915 in Elliott County, KY to Jesse P. and Jina Lee (Cox) Fraley. Eulah is preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, husband, John Kenneth Greene, daughter-in-law, Cleo Greene and granddaughter, Debbie Greene Stoops. She is survived by her children, Buell (Barbara) Greene, Columbus; Darlene (Bill) Darst, Orient; Dora Greene, Circleville; Ken (Jean) Greene, Circleville, Carol (Don) West, Logan, grandchildren, Lisa (Richard) McVey, DeQuincy, LA; Vickie (Steve) Beatty, Columbus; Dean (Iris) Darst, Ashville; Randy Darst, Grove City; Beth (Joel) Nash, Collinsville, OK; Lance (Deb) Greene, Snow Camp, NC; Ryan Greene, Columbus; Kristen (Steve) Earley, Springfield; James (Lori) West, Westerville; John West, Logan, 21 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Adrian (Barbara) Greene, Sandy Hook KY and numerous nieces and nephews. Eulah worked for many years as head of housekeeping at Logan Elm Care Center, retiring at the age of 85. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a great cook and her fried chicken will be missed. She couldn’t wait for Pumpkin Show to arrive so that she could cook and bake for all her children and grandchildren. She also looked forward to preparing holiday dinners. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Wellman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Perry Fausnaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
