Rose (Stevens) Thurston

Rose Thurston, 71, of South Bloomingville passed away on September 30, 2023.   She was born on May 12, 1952 in Logan, Ohio to Jesse and Eva (Ringheiser) Stevens.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Martha Rooker, Donna Biebler and Everett Stevens.  Rose is survived by her husband Dale Wesley Thurston; son Dale Thurston Jr.; grandchildren Kilee and Abel and siblings Linda Hartshorn, Grace Payne, Sarah Hartshorn, Patty Kline, Gene Stevens, Gary Stevens and Mary Keeny.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from  5-7 in Laurelville.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
