Roger Terrill

Roger Terrill Jr., 85, of South Bloomingville passed away on July 12, 2026. He was born on August 30, 1940 in Berea, KY to Roger and Ethel (Templeton) Terrill Sr. He retired after 40 years as a truck driver for Roadway. The most important thing in his life were his grandbabies and he loved spending time with them. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Monabelle (Hively) Terrill and by siblings Bill Terrill, Doris Crews, Betty Gehring and Sylvia Terrill. Roger is survived by his children Shawnee Lee Helton, Shannon Doah Helton, Alisha Marie (Richie) Elkins; grandchildren Janetta (Andrew) Szerletich, Chelyan, Caleb and Cooper Elkins and by siblings Lois Barnett, Raymond (Judy) Terrill, Jerry Wayne Terrill, Jackie and Kayla Jean. Roger loved his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Community Church with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
