Richard Mccomas

Richard H. McComas, 71, of Circleville, died January 22, 2011 at Grant Hospital. He was born December 16, 1939 in Huntington, WV, the son of Homer E. and Quanita (Nance) McComas. He was U.S. Marine veteran and a life member of Amvets. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy L. McComas. He is survived by his wife, Nancy C. (Mount) McComas; children, Richard H. (Barbie) McComas, Jr., Leslie A. McComas, Drema S. (Steve) Steyers, Roger E. (Mila) McComas, Tony L. (Jami) McComas and Tonya N. (Jerry) Powell; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry and Homer E. McComas and sister, Kim McComas. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 27, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with military graveside honors. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Amvets.
