Richard Chattos

Richard Gary Chattos, age 80, of Circleville, after courageously fighting cancer, died on January 20, 2019 at Mt. Carmel East. He was a 47 year employee of CSX Transportation. Richard enjoyed fishing, gardening, and time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.  He always had a nickname for those people he loved best.  He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Richard Gary II, in 2009.  Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon, his daughters Cindy (Quigley) and Chris Morris, Kathy and Leo Spalding, son, Tim Chattos.  Grandsons, the Two Bubbers, Christopher( Istopher) Spalding,  William (Wilhelm) Spalding and KT, Corey (Beebo) and Anna Morris, granddaughter Sarah (Beenie Weenie best friend,) and 3 great grandchildren, Rodrik (Big Rod) Gabe (Gabey) and Willow.  Funeral services will be held at the Wellman Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 a.m.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
