Rev. Marilyn Kay Morrison

Rev. Marilyn Kay Morrison of South Bloomfield passed away on May 21, 2026. Kay was born in Columbus, Ohio on Feb. 12, 1940. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Kathryn Harris, beloved son Dennis L. Lambert, sister K. Elaine Callaway (Bill), brother John I. Morrison and nephew Joseph Morrison. She is survived by daughter Sherri S. Allen (Terry) of Circleville, Ohio; grandchildren Staff Sgt. Michael R. Mercer (Samantha) of South Carolina, Amanda, Dustin, Melissa, Jonathan and Wesley; great grandchildren Logan, Addyson, Savannah and Maverick and by nieces, nephews and many friends. Kay attended Malone University in 1969 and finished her call to the ministry at age 73 graduating from Ohio Christian University in 2013. Kay was ordained in the CCCU in 2015. Kay was a volunteer for Heartland Hospice, Crossroads Shepherd Staff as well as team leader for Nursing Home Ministries. Pastor Kay belonged to Crossroads CCCU Church where there will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Dr. David Lattimer will be officiating.
