Phyllis Manson

Phyllis P. Manson, 83, of Circleville, died March 28, 2010 at Berger Hospital. She was born April 15, 1926 in Homer, IL, the daughter of Ray and Elizabeth (Hodge) Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Wesley Manson; son, Jerry Lee Manson; sister, Lois L. Thimmes and brothers, Melvin and Max Williams. She is survived by her sons, Tom (Lori Rinehart) Manson of Circleville, John (Becky) Manson of Kingston, Bobby (Nora) Manson of Stoutsville and Timothy (Debbie) Manson of Kingston; 4 grandchildren, Mark (Cheri), Eric (Rachel) Leeann (Kevin) and Nathan (Jillian); numerous great grandchildren; brother, Ralph Williams of Fairborn; sister, Jean Jeffers of Lancaster and beloved pet Levi. Her favorite pastime was watching O.S.U. football with Levi. She was an avid cook and collected recipes. She was a member of the Thursday Night Eating Club with her friends. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday April 2, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
