Ned Kraft

Ned Leist Kraft, 86, of Circleville, died May 5, 2007 in Columbus. He was born November 26, 1920 in Washington Twp., the son of Turney and Lola (Leist) Kraft. Ned was an Army veteran of WWII where he received two purple hearts, a retired farmer and custodian at Washington Elementary School and a member of St. Paul Methodist Church and the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Faye Timmons. He is survived by his wife; Vera (Bowman) Kraft, daughter; Carol (Bob) Aldridge of Grove City, son; Dale (Beth) Kraft of Chillicothe, grandchildren; Josh, Jared, Nicholas and Ryan, great-granddaughter; Trinity, sister, Doris Roof and brother, Paul D. Kraft both of Circleville. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday May 9, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to St Paul U. M. Church or the hospice of your choice.
