Mindy Rife

Mindy Howell Rife, 60, passed away April 30, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Grove City, OH. In addition to her mother Marsha (Barrow) Howell she was preceded in death by her mother and father in-law Bruce and Shirley Rife and brothers-in-law Leslie Rife and Brian Rife. She is survived by her husband, Philip, she also leaves behind her father, Doug Howell, sisters, Angela (John) Lauer, Tonya (Jason) Cannell, and Jessica (Jeff) Huffman; stepson Brock (Jason) Rife; sisters- in-law Lisa (Richard Eveland) and Colleen Rife and Abby Huggins; brother- in- law Duane (Nancy) Rife and by several nieces and nephews. Mindy was born in Fort Wayne, IN. Mindy, aka Pooh, was the light of lives of her family. Beautiful, smart, patient, strong, fun and funny, she will be sorely missed. Her dogs, Sophie and Libby, will truly miss her boundless and selfless love. She had a special connection with them. Her love and empathy of all animals has always been so admirable. Mindy was preceded in death by her mother, Marsha Howell (2024). She is at home with Jesus and the angels, where she belongs.
