Michael Pitzer

Michael E. Pitzer, 63, of Circleville, died November 14, 2011 at Berger Hospital. He was born May 7, 1948 in Springfield, OH the son of Lawrence and Alice (Cowell) Pitzer. He was retired Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy with 23 years of service and member of Association of Operating Room Nurses. He ran the O.R. at Berger Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Timothy S. Pitzer. He is survived by his wife, Judith (Williams) Pitzer; Michael Shaun (Linda), Aaron James (Amy) and Nicholas Ian (Sarah) Pitzer; 6 grandchildren, Maddie, Loren, Logan, Danielle, Claudia and Violet and brothers, Lawrence H. (Joanne) Pitzer, II and Edward W. Pitzer. Friends and family may call from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Cremation will follow.
