Mattie Vanfossen

Mattie May VanFossen, 82, of Stoutsville, died October 1, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1927 in Hocking County, the daughter of Walter and Bessie (Tisdale) Ebert. She was retired from General Electric. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 grandchild and brothers, Robert, Don and John Ebert. She is survived by her husband, Amos VanFossen; daughters, Juanita Rossiter of Circleville, Catherine Vickers of Tarlton, Rebecca Tatman of Kingston and Tonja Good of Tarlton; son, David L. VanFossen of Circleville; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and sisters, Mary McNeal and Madalyn Metcaff of Circleville. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Monday October 5, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call from10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
