Mary Jane Skinner

Mary Jane Skinner, 96, of Circleville, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026. She was born on March 17, 1930 in Derby, Ohio to Wertie and Wanda (Fullen) Collins. She married Ward Skinner May 27, 1950 and together they owned and operated Ward’s Market/Cardinal Market until their retirement in 1978. Upon retirement they enjoyed traveling and golf. She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson Nicholas Skinner, daughter-in-law Michelle Skinner, son-in-law John Adkins, brothers Bob, Emerson, Dwight, Bill, Jim and Jerry, sisters Pauline and Eleanorbelle and special friend Birl Tatman. Survived by daughters Connie (Mike) Neal, Beth (Craig) Paynter, sons, Tom Skinner and Mark Skinner (Nancy Radcliff), grandchildren Brent Neal, Brady Neal, Booke Paxton, Casey Skinner, Jared Skinner, Dawson Skinner, Kendall Adkins and Taylor Adkins, great grandchildren Reece Neal, Kaden and Nolan Paxton, Owen, Nora, Ellyza and Maxwell Skinner, Kam Knecht-Heeter and Cash Adkins, sister Betty Teets and Helen Weaver. The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice and the nurses and aides at Wyngate for their love, friendship and support the last few years.
