Mark Paxton

Mark Paxton, a devoted farmer and cherished member of the Circleville community, passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on May 7, 1956, in Circleville, Ohio, Mark's life was marked by his deep connection to his land and family.

As a lifelong farmer, Mark dedicated his days to cultivating the fields he loved. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting or riding dirt bikes in his younger years. 

Mark's family was central to his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Carson, who stood by his side through the years. He was a proud father to two daughters, Ashley (Tim) Hartley and Jennifer (James Butler) Bryant, both of whom carry forward his spirit and values. His joy extended into the next generation with his granddaughter, Megan Bryant, whose presence brought light to his life. Additionally, Mark shared a special bond with his cousins, Mary and Mike Paxton, alongside many other cousins who formed a tapestry of family ties.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Virginia (VanFossen) Paxton, and by his son, Robbie Henry Paxton.

Cremation has be observed.
