It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, whose presence brought warmth, kindness, and light into the lives of all who knew her.
Margie Kuebler, aged 77, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on June 26, 1948, she lived a life full of compassion and quiet strength.
Margie had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, safe, and deeply loved. Her family was the most important part of her life, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. Whether through a gentle word, a shared laugh, or unwavering support, she created a home filled with warmth and belonging.
She was a member of the Rolen Rd Church of Christ. A graduate of Portsmouth High School the class of 1966 and Riverside White Cross School of Nursing, she dedicated 37 years of her life to working at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She worked in the mother-infant unit, where she cared for countless newborns and supported families during some of their most meaningful moments. Babies were not just her profession but her greatest joy.
Margie’s love extended far beyond her immediate family. She opened her heart and her home to over 30 foster babies, offering them safety, care, and unconditional love. Many of those children, now grown, remain a part of her life and lovingly refer to her as “Mom” which is a testament to the lasting impact she made on so many lives.
Margie is survived by her loving husband, Jim of 56 years; her children, Ken (Robin), Kevin (Jen), Erin (Tim), Tim (Michelle), Rease, and her 10 cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn (Jack) and Janet (Tim).
She is preceded in death by her beloved granddaughters, Eliana and Hannah; her parents, Mabel and James West; and her brother, Chuck Wellman Sr.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in remembering a life so beautifully lived. Margie taught us the true meaning of selfless love, and that lesson will remain with us always.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 7 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 11:00 am at the Rolen Rd Church of Christ, 142 Rolen Road SW, Etna Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to NC4K (https://www.nc4k.org/give).
