Loretta Bode

Loretta Bode, 60, of Circleville, died May 18, 2010 at Berger Hospital after a long battle with Pulmonary Hypertension. She was born June 13, 1949 in Pikeville, KY, the daughter of Clyde and Pluma (Gillman) Stotridge. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester G. “Pete” Bode, Jr.; granddaughters, Brittany and Tiffany Bode; 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her, sons, Chester G. “Pete” (Pamela) Bode of Kingston and Jason (Brittany Hill) Bode of Circleville; daughter, Tereasa (Brian) Hart of Circleville; grandchildren, John L. Bode and Ashley Bode, brothers, Gene (Loraine) Stotridge, Rick (Pat) Stotridge and Alvin (Tammy) Stotridge all of Chillicothe; sisters, Betty (Norman) Detty and June (Jim) Clayton all of Chillicothe; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins and some very good friends, Judy Queen, Pastor Carol, Ruth Ann Donaldson and Carol Payne. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Friday May 21, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in Loretta’s name.
