Lester Ramey

Lester Ramey, 92, of Stoutsville passed away on October 17, 2016. He was born on July 7, 1924 in Inex, Kentucky to Luther and Maxine (Daniels) Ramey. Lester was a WWII Army Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Liza (Chapman) Ramey, son; Frank Irick, grandson; Brian Browder and son-in-laws; Sid Lester and Charles Richardson, siblings; James Luther Ramey, Purvis Dennison, Rosewell Dennison, May Flora Crum, Yvonne and Vivian Mollett. Lester is survived by his children; Betty Lester, Yvonne Harvey, Carol (Jerry) Scott, Kathy Richardson, Reda (Charlie) Browder, Tonya, Tabby and Lester Ramey, brothers; Leo and Arlo Dennison and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.
