Leonard Rush

 Leonard E. Rush, born 3/18/1930, joined the saints on Saturday evening 11/30/2024. Leonard spent his youth and into his 60’s in Circleville, Ohio, living with and loving with the Bradley and Bass families of South Scioto Street , where he was like an “older brother”. He was well loved and his beaming smile, and easy laugh made him fast friends, chief among them Dwight and Betty Radcliffe and Russ and Betty Teets who where not only friends for life, got him out of a few scrapes here and there.

He spent his later years in Columbus caring for his mother Zelma “Sissie” Jackson Willis who proceeded him in death, along with Loverta “Bert” Bradley, his aunt who took him in as her son. He leaves behind three remaining Bass family members, Darryl who was his closest pal, Dennie, and Beatrice Oliver, as well as innumerable friends, cousins and connections that will live on in cherished memories.

Services on Friday 12/6/2024 at Wellman Funeral Home, 1455 North Court Street, Circleville, Ohio. Visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with services  to follow. Officiating by Reverend Jennifer M. Bass
