Leona "Sue" Caudill

Leona “Sue” Caudill, age 61, of Mount Sterling, passed away suddenly on July 21, 2025. Born on November 9, 1963, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harold and Donna (Smith) Brumfield. Sue was a vibrant and compassionate presence in her community. She found great joy in spending time at the Mount Sterling Community Center with her sewing group and was a devoted member of Greenlawn Community Church. Her warmth, creativity, and strong faith left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Harold Samuel Brumfield, Jr., and her late husband, Henry Oliver. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Michael Caudill; her daughters, Stephanie (Travis) Gierhart, Caitlynn (Nathan) Pitzer, and Ashley (Deven) Anderson. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren; Caleb, Kamdyn, Chance, Kooper, Kruze, Allan, and several dearly loved foster grandchildren. Sue is also survived by her siblings; Steve (Darla) Brumfield, Scott (Carla) Brumfield, Spencer (Rubeye) Brumfield, Shelley (Bill) Tilley, and Shannon (Krystal) Brumfield, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply. Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 2, 2025 at the Mt Sterling Nazarene Church.
