It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kathy Schleich of Circleville. She left this earth for a better place at her home on April 23, 2026 surrounded by her husband, Dan Hill whom she spent over 40 years with and her loving family. Kathy was born on October 7, 1960 to Donald and Ruth Schleich. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and special niece Tiffany Elster. She leaves behind husband, Dan Hill and his daughter Jenna Hill and 3 beautiful granddaughters; sisters Debra (Clark) McFarland, Janet (Wayne) Wright, Cindy (Bill) Kiser and Laura Cordle (Roger Edwards) and special friends Teresa (Grady) Campbell and Tonya “Red” Black. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, greats and great, greats who she loved like they were her own. Many cousins are grieving her loss also. Kathy was a 1979 graduate of Westfall High School. She graduated from Ohio University Nursing Program and practiced as a registered nurse for many years. Kathy worked for Logan Elm Health Care for many years. Her work family and the residents will miss her dearly. The compassion she had for others was like no other. She was caring, loving, kind and giving. She never met a stranger. People talk about her warm and welcoming smile. She was brave and courageous always keeping her positive sense of humor, even during this awful illness. Kathy’s love for softball was her passion for many years as she played on a team with good friends for the team “Galloway Construction.” Her family even drove out of state to watch her play. Dan will cherish all those memories. She enjoyed her family time. The memories she is leaving behind of family gatherings will be cherished forever. She may be gone but not forgotten. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
