Katherine Bode

Katherine M. Bode, 76, of Adelphi, died December 31, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 23, 1933 in Ross County, the daughter of Lawrence and Clara (Cline) Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Bode; son, Wesley L. Bode and brother, Everett Ford. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene (Lewis) Newland of Adelphi and Miss Nancy Redman of Laurelville; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Daisy (Roger) Kinnamon of Frankfort and Lucille Allen of IN; brother, William (Betty) Ford of Bournville and sister-in-law, Rosa Lowery of Lancaster. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 3, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
