Joseph Hickey

Joseph Harold Hickey, 88, born June 9, 1923, died on November 15, 2011. He was a WWII Army veteran and a former POW. He retired from the Army after 22 ½ years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elfriede Christina (Schuler) Hickey; son, John Roger Hickey; parents, William and Daisy Hickey, brother, John Hickey and sisters, Rosemary , Lucille and Alice. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Hickey) Colbert of Canal Winchester; stepdaughter, Heidimarie Plum of Canal Winchester, granddaughter, Michelle Jones of Westerville; great grandson, Tanner Jones and nephew, William Hickey of Circleville. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday November 18, 2011 at Forest Cemetery with Chaplin Jim Ferrell officiating. Military honors will be held. Arrangements completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
