Johnathan Coleman

Johnathan Jesse Coleman, 83, passed away September 26, 2023 at the Berger Hospital.  He was born February 5, 1940 to the late Ulysses and Sarah Coleman.  Jesse is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet (Bennington) Coleman; daughter Debora (Steve) Lumaye; grandchild Kristina (Carl Jr.) Jonas; great, great grandchildren Johnathan, Jacob (Carlie), Carl III, Ryan (Deanna); great, great, great grandchildren Kinsliee, Ava, Jacob and Thomas; siblings Laura (Lee), Myra, Polly, Ruth (Mike), Lois (Tim), Dora (Patrick), Patricia; sister-in-law Wanda Standsbury and numerous nieces and nephews.  Jesse in addition to his parents was preceded in death by his brother Riley and his sister Lucy, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Marie and Robert Smith.  The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.  Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff for the care he received at Berger Hospital.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
