John Picklesimer

John W. Picklesimer 85, of Circleville, died August 20, 2012 at Berger Hospital. He was born December 26, 1926 in Vanlear, KY, the son of Sanford and Nolice (Pelfrey) Picklesimer. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st. wife, Mary Jane (Kneece) Picklesimer; 2nd wife, Helen L. (Roth) Imler Picklesimer; 1 great great granddaughter; 3 sisters and 5 brothers. He is survived by his son, Sandy (Sarah Jane) Picklesimer of Williamsport; daughters, Gladys (Sam) Colter of Clarksburg, Jenny (Nick) Kofanis of Parma and Johanna “Dodie” (Ed) Valentine of Williamsport; step son, Jim (Dorothy) Kneece of Lebanon; 18 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; brothers, Oakley Picklesimer of FL and Glenn Picklesimer of GA and special friend, Aisha Carter. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday August 24, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
