John Conrad Jr.

John Conrad Jr., 76, of Circleville went peacefully to be with the Lord on September 2, 2018 surrounded by family.  He was born on April 4, 1942 in Circleville to John and Evelyn (Keaton) Conrad.  He was owner/operator of Pickaway Auto Parts.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son Nick Conrad, grandson Steven N. Thurston and by brothers Roy and James Conrad.  He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and antique cars.  John is survived by his wife Linda (Henson) Conrad, children Penny (Steve) Thurston, Peggy (Ray) Conrad, Kristine (Kenny) Smith, John (Susan) Conrad III, grandchildren Bruce, Bryan, Jeremy, Michael, Miranda, Jennifer, Jonah, Rachel, Annie, Eli, Johnny, Jace, Matt, Kristen, Erica, Jeremiah, brothers Ray and Robert Conrad, sisters Betty Hopkins, Patty Surratt and Linda Butterbaugh and by step mother Joan Conrad.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.   Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
