Jeffrey Scott Kimberley
1967-2026
Jeffrey Scott Kimberley, born April 6th 1967 in Louisville KY, passed away at his residence in Williamsport OH on Sunday April 12th 2026. The first child and only son of the late Richard E. & Carolyn Sue (Reynolds) Kimberley is survived by his wife Abigail Yixuanzhao and daughter Astrid Jane. He also leaves behind sisters Tracy (Richard) Pace and Deborah (Lee) Chesser, nieces Julia Pace and Brittany (Issac) Whitmore, and nephews Skylar Hopkins and Everett Chesser as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends.
Jeff was an avid University of Kentucky fan as you could tell by his wardrobe and consistent display of U of K fan accessories. Jeff played baseball in his youth and excelled in the ROTC at Louisville’s Male high school which led to his prestigious acceptance into the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was eventually stationed with the Army in Alaska where he admired the natural beauty of its landscape and splurged on buying a brand new grey Ford Mustang. He also served many years in the Army Artillery Reserves. A life long student, Jeff also studied at Eastern Kentucky University and University of Louisville, taught high school physics before landing his career in electrical engineering.
Nostalgic and sentimental at heart he spent his spare time researching and sharing stories of his family genealogy. Other hobbies of Jeff include driving the long way home, watching his favorite movies, playing Rook and Jenga with family, “running the Guantlet” video game, camping with a roaring fire, building extensive Lego sets but more than anything he loved playing with his daughter Astrid and being her father.
