Jeffery Hart

Jeffery "Jeff" L. Hart passed away at his home Sunday July 15, 2007 after a brave fight with cancer. He was born March 1, 1971 in Lancaster, the son of Dallas & Kathy (Harper) Hart. Jeff loved Nascar and collecting anything that looked interesting. He was a very kind and loving guy who loved his family and friends. He would give the shirt right off his back. Although a car wreck 10 years ago put him in a wheelchair most of the time he stood 10 feet tall. Also surviving is his son, Nathaniel Dylan Hart of the home; sister, Sherry Hart (Clyde Moody) of Laurelville; nephews, Zach & Dusty Fox of Laurelville; grandmother, Helen Harper of Logan; a special cousin he thought of like a brother, Paul "Zeke" Hart; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Melford "Tall" and Dorthy Hart; grandfather, Forest Harper; 1 aunt and 2 uncles. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 19, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Fair Hope Hospice.
