Jean (Fowler) Thomas

Jean M. Thomas, 91, of Circleville passed away on January 14, 2019.  She was born on March 15, 1927 in Barnesville, Ohio to Walter and Goldie (Winland) Fowler.  She was a retired teacher from Scioto Elementary.  She had previously attended Nicholas Drive Church of God and Heritage Nazarene Church, worked as a Berger Hospital Volunteer and original patient portal.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Ted” Thomas, son Tim Thomas, one brother and one sister.  Jean is survived by her daughter Anne Thomas, son Matt (Debbie) Thomas, grandchildren Jonathan (Heather) Thomas, Dustin (Chelsey) Thomas, Megan (Joseph) Ackley, Amy (Joel) Coomer, Brooke (Jason) Acker, great grandchildren Ahmiah, Liam and Caiden Thomas, Jaysa and Jayden Acker, Laine and Gage Coomer and special friends Veda Thomas and Danielle Congrove.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and again on Friday from 1-2 p.m.  The family wishes to thank the many caregivers, nurses and therapist who provided care for Jean.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
