Janet Downing

Janet A. Downing, 72, of Circleville, died October 29, 2010. She was born July 20, 1938 in Pickaway Co. the daughter of Melvin and Nina Urill (Carney) Arledge. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Wayne L. Downing, Sr. Janet is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Roger) Moore of Laurelville, son Wayne L. Downing, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren Justin (Rhonda) DeLong, Emily (Brandon) Speakman and Amy (Eric Salmacki) Moore; great grandchildren Levi DeLong and Rylee Speakman; brothers and sister Richard (Shirley) Arledge, Donna (Quentin) Butterfield, Michael (Pam) Arledge and M. Dean (Teresa) Arledge and special friend Maurine P. Lee. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 3, 2010 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice or Emmanuel U.M.C.
