Jack Bucher

Jack Bucher, 80, of Circleville went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 18, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born May 3, 1946 he was adopted by Catherine and Talmedge Bucher along with his parents he was preceded in death by his also adopted sister Diane Trant, a niece Kimberly Lewis, a son Michael Sterner and a wife of 32 years whom he adored Linda Bucher and dear friend David Greeno. Jack was a Vietnam Veteran followed by many years of service in the National Guard until he retired. Jack was also a master electrician, as well as an escort driver for oversized loads until he became unable to work. Jack loved to fish and take leisurely drives through the country. Jack was a kind and gentle soul who would help anyone he met. Jack is survived by his loving and attentive wife Karen Bucher. Together they proved that love is more than numbers, though they were 80 and 68, they fell in love like two teenagers laughing, flirting, holding hands with every moment treasured. Age may count the years but it cannot measure the depth of love that touches the soul. Jack is also survived by his daughters Wendy Grabonstein and Tonya James, his sons Henry Sterner (Brittany), Davie Greeno and Mathew Greeno (Ashley) along with a son-in-law he loved like a son William Grabonstein, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Adena ICU and St. Johns Church of Stoutsville for their acceptance and kindness. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be at a later date in Dayton National Cemetery.
