Hiram Duty

Hiram Duty, 82, of South Bloomingville passed away on December 13, 2024. He was born on December 21, 1941 in Raglan, WV to James and Sophia (Whitt) Duty. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings Sara, Rose, James, Wanda, Mindy, Josephine and Polly. He is survived by his wife Brenda (Maynard) Duty; daughter Sheila (Greg) Smith; step children Linda Castle, Kathleen Fletcher, Jack David Smith and Dawn Smith; grandchildren Jaci, Alex, Aden, Kamden, Justin, Catlin, Derek, Abby, Jacob, Tristen, Isiah and Peyton; great grandchildren Kashton, Hatch, Tucker, Aria, Camillia and Jett siblings Ronnie, Eugene, Jerry, Keith, Margaret and Brenda and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with visitation from 4-7.
