Helen L. Purcell

Helen L. Purcell, 78, of Circleville, died July 11, 2018 at Berger Hospital.  She was born December 23, 1939 in Pickaway County, the daughter of William and Florence (Wilson) Whaley.  She was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Amvets and Eagles.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Purcell; brothers, Kenneth and Robert Whaley and sister, Nita Shaffer. She is survived by her siblings, Norma (Ted) Mogan, Dorothy (Clyde) Knipp, Barbara Hill and Vicky (Richard) Zahard all of Circleville.  Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday July 16, 2018 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  Burial will be in Jackson Twp.
