Ginger Stant

Ginger Lee Stant, 78, of Circleville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 3, 1947, in Circleville, Ginger was the daughter of Joseph Smalley and Harriet (Stapleton) Smalley Congrove. She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Shirley and Helen Stant, and brother-in-law Larry Stant. Surviving are her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 56 years, Robert Stant; children Erin (Jason) Kirby and Tyler Stant; grandchildren Grant Kirby and Paige (Jacob Batson) Kirby; brother Stephen (Judy) Smalley; sisters JoEllen (James) Deal and Daylene (Dennis) Zwayer; brother-in-law Johnny (Vickie) Stant and sister-in-law Joanne Stant; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend Pam Seavolt. Ginger enjoyed the performing arts and was an avid theatre patron and an award-winning performer in many productions of Roundtown Players. She was a former member of the Child Conservation League, a 17-year 4-H Club advisor, and the Sulky Sweeties at Scioto Downs and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Ginger brought immense joy to many with her fun-loving personality and countless stories. She had a heart of gold and continuously sent her love to so many through her handmade cards. Ginger enjoyed travel, reading, and playing card games with her family and beloved friends of her Euchre club of over 50 years. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery.
