Gerald L. Dade, 72, of Columbus passed away on February 11, 2017. He was born on December 13, 1944 in Circleville to Emmitt and Naomi (Phifer) Dade. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Howard Dade and a brother-in-law Charles Brazil. Gerald is survived by his wife; Cheryl (Corbin) Dade, daughter; Veronica Meek, son; Gerald Dade Jr., grandchildren; Alvin, Aron and Lindsey, siblings; Geraldine (George) Quinn, Carolyn Brazil, E. Steven Dade and Brenda Dade. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
